We gotta alot of stuff on the MTM plate...

So this past wednesday and thursday, the homies came by to shred mattys place. Wednesday was a good night, with fast "snow" and good people, which kept the sesh going until all hours of the night. Thursday night however, was a different story, as the "snow" was slow, and was coincidentally the night we decided to make an edit. So, without further a due, here's our edit of our hi jinx that evening:

backyard snowboarding from Caleb Murray on Vimeo.

Filmed by Caleb, Nate, and Matt_Edited by Caleb

Also, I will once again remind all you turds and turdettes that the Terrace Rail Jam is tomorrow, Thursday, November 19th at 5pm on the Terrace, be there bitches. For those of you who cannot make it to the rail jam but have that craving to shred the "pow pow", Tyrol Basin is scheduled to open November 27th for pre-season, so dust of your board and break out the outerwear, cause the season is coming...

Camera Camera Camera...

So this is a bit on the late side, but MTMs own Caleb Murray has purchased a Canon GL2 for the low low, and hence for will be contributing edits along with Colin Droster. This opens ups doors in terms of alternate angles, alternate lense choices, and quite frankly alternate videos. Talk of a "whomper" video hitting Madison this spring/summer are surfacing, and all i can say is right on. Basically the jist is that there will be more edits and videos up here, so uhh, go you guys!!

Pure Cocaine Mt.

So this past weekend we had another sesh at Pure Cocaine Mountain, formerly known as Mount Droster, also known as Colin Drosters land. We warmed up on the box like usual on his butter box, then he brought out his newest creation, a 15ft circle rail. Needless to say it was an epic session, were everyone got there fair share of new tricks and shots to the body. An edit and pictures should be up soon, were just waiting on the master in command in our "videography/photogaphy department" Colin Droster to find some time to make this happen. Stay tuned for more visual shreddage stimuli in the days to come.

Terrace Rail Jam

So theres not much to report on the snowboard front these days, but while anxiousness and annoyance were in full effect, the guys who run the Campus Rail Jam Tour decided to hit up Madison and help throw a rail jam at the Terrace. This sure to be throw down will take place Thursday, November 19th, from 5pm to 8pm, at the Terrace behind Memorial Union. Now as you will see by the picture below, the course, for lack of a better term, looks epic, something Bear would put out for a jam. The only qualm I have with rail jam would be that not only is it 25 bones to throw down, but you also need to be at least 18 years of age and submit an application which can be found here:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dEhURDc3VURFc2FjUW40RE1VeE9sNkE6MA

It does suck that you have to submit contests that you have entered, sponsors, and you even have to submit photos and/or video to be able to be considered for admittance. Now I think ill meet these requirements, but thats not the point, I seriously believe, that everyone should be able to ride, regardless of age or skill level, but who am I to say. Well regardless of who rides, the whole MTM family will be out there either rippin these kids new ones or cheerin homies on while grillin out and sippin on some Dr. Feel Good. So like I said in another post, come out and ride, and if not come to support your homies, if ya dont know anyone, come kick it with us and get wild, if this still doesnt sell ya your hopeless haha

Strength in Numbers_S.I.N.

So for those of you who dont know, one of the MTM O.G.'s Caleb Murray, has started a new clothing line called Strength in Numbers, which is made from the finest Alpaca wool from Peru. He will be making everything from sweatshirts and sweaters, all of which will be available in tall sizes, to socks and hats. I myself am super hyped, and will be using connections with sceen printers to make both official Mad Town Mafia and S.I.N. tall tees. Strength in Numbers will also be accommodating others by offering clothing in both womens and kids lines, which alike the mens line, will be available in both tall and regular sizes. The specifications have been sent to his uncle in Peru, and within the next few weeks the demos should back in the states. Words can't explain how excited I am for this line to start churning out clothes, not only am i personally involved in some of the stuff comin out, but the amount of preparation and determination that Caleb is puttin into this company seriously hypes me up, S.I.N. is guaranteed to be making power moves on nearby hills this year, and within the next few will be a necessity at a hill near you!!
