Ride Rail Jam Summary

So this past weekend the better part of the "Mafia" showed up to support the "86th Annual" Ride Shop Rail Jam in New Berlin, WI. There was an array of styles and skill levels present, all of which were about throwing down and having fun. The course consisted of a square downrail, and almost directly after was a corrugated tube jam with another corrugated tube on the perimeter. Due to what some would "excessive" drinking and lack of funds, most of us were supporting the rest of the homies on the sidelines. We brought some Dr. Feel Good along in a water bottle, danced, and pronounced our love, both on and off the mic, to Mr. Nate Lavik. Despite distractions, and a long line, Nate Lavik rode real well, stomping hard way 180s to 180 out, front board tap 180s, and nollie back tails. He ended up making finals, and continued to throw down and would wind up taking third, with Kyle Martola taking first. I would have to say the results were biased though, because the names of the three kids who the actual judges thought should place were given to a local little kid to decide who placed where, and being a local, put Nate last cause he wasnt from town. It was a bummer, but we all had fun regardless, and celebrated by eating culvers, wondering around milwaukee, and consuming mass amounts of alcohol that evening.
